Our commitment

Padgett Medical Center is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities can use our website and access care at our clinic. We want every patient to be able to find information, book a consultation, and reach our team, regardless of ability or the assistive technology they use.

Standard we aim for

We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508. Measures built into this site include:

• Semantic HTML headings and landmarks, so screen readers can navigate page structure.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images.
• Keyboard access to interactive elements, including the consultation funnel, menus, and FAQ accordions.
• Visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields.
• Colour combinations chosen for contrast against their backgrounds.
• Respect for the operating system's “reduce motion” setting, which turns off our animations and the hero slideshow.
• Form fields with associated labels and clear, text-based error messages.

Accessibility at our Tampa clinic

Our office is designed to be reachable for patients with mobility needs, and our team is glad to help with check-in, paperwork, or getting to an exam room. If you need a specific accommodation for your visit, tell us when you book and we will arrange it in advance.

Telehealth is available across Florida for any patient who finds travelling to the clinic difficult. Visits can be completed by phone, and medication ships to your door.

Known limitations

Some parts of this site rely on third-party services we do not control, and their accessibility may vary. These include our embedded Google Maps, embedded video, and the scheduling calendar used to confirm appointments. If one of these blocks you, contact us and we will complete the task with you directly, by phone or in person.
