ADHD in college
College leans hard on the skills ADHD makes harder: focusing through lectures and long readings, planning around deadlines, and getting started without anyone checking in. Florida's prescription database
Before prescribing any controlled medication, we check E-FORCSE, Florida's prescription drug monitoring program, as state law requires.
Your plan and first follow-up
If treatment is appropriate, your provider walks you through your plan. Follow-ups are monthly, 15 minutes, and $136, in person or by telehealth while you are in Florida.

Morgan sees you at every visit, your first one and each monthly follow-up.
A Florida native with a passion for medicine and movement, Morgan graduated from High Point University as a Physician Assistant, competing as a gymnast while earning her degree. After PA school she began her career in neurosurgery and is now focused on wellness and anti-aging medicine. Outside of work, Morgan enjoys beach days, live concerts, and time with her dog, cat, friends, and family.

Dr. Diaz has been with Padgett Medical Center since 2019 and has over 42 years of experience as a physician, with a specialty in nuclear medicine and sonography. He has specialized experience with thyroid disorders and previously owned a thyroid clinic, and has completed training in adult ADHD, medical marijuana, and joint injections. When he is not practicing medicine, he spends time with his wife, daughter, and dogs.

College students pay $130 for the new patient visit with a valid college ID, booked online with a card on file: 50% off the regular $260. The new patient visit is a 30-minute, in-person visit with a licensed provider at our Tampa clinic. After that, monthly follow-ups are 15 minutes and $136, the same for everyone. There are no hidden fees and no contract or minimum commitment: you pay per visit, and nothing is charged when you book. The visit fee does not include medication: if your provider prescribes one, it is filled at your pharmacy.
Is the 50% off every visit?+
No. It is off your new patient visit only. Monthly follow-ups are $136 for everyone.

Adults enrolled in college with a valid college ID. Choose the student price when you book online and keep a card on file, then bring your college ID to your first visit, where we check it.
How do I get the $130 new patient visit?+
Book online at padgettmedical.com: pick a time for your in-person new patient visit, say you're enrolled in college and will bring your college ID, then save a card on the secure page. Nothing is charged when you book, and the 50% comes off your new patient visit when you check out.
Can I book without a card on file?+
Yes, at the regular $260: the student price comes with a card on file. Your appointment stays unconfirmed until our team confirms it with you by phone, and an unconfirmed appointment is released after 48 hours.
Why is it cheaper to book online with a card on file?+
Missed appointments leave a provider's time unused. A card on file means fewer missed appointments, and we pass that saving on to you as 35% off your new patient visit. Your card is saved, not charged, when you book.
Are there any hidden fees?+
No. You pay the visit price shown, per visit, with no contract or minimum commitment. The only other charge is a $50 no-show fee if you miss your appointment without cancelling or rescheduling at least 24 hours ahead, and it can be applied to your next visit.
Does my first visit have to be in person?+
Yes. Your first ADHD visit is always in person at our Tampa clinic, 6904 W. Linebaugh Ave, Tampa, FL 33625. After that, follow-up visits can be in person or by telehealth.
Can I do follow-ups by telehealth from campus or from home?+
Yes, as long as you are in Florida at the time of the visit. Monthly follow-ups are 15 minutes and $136, and they are required to stay on treatment, so if you will be out of state, for example over a break, plan your follow-ups around it.
What should I bring to my first visit?+
Your valid college ID, a photo ID, a list of the medications you take now, and any prior ADHD diagnosis or records.
Will I be prescribed medication?+
Not necessarily, and no medication is promised in advance. Treatment may include medication options, which may include stimulant and non-stimulant medications, chosen with your provider, along with non-medication strategies. Whether medication is right for you, and which one, is decided with your provider after your evaluation.
What is E-FORCSE, and why do you check it?+
E-FORCSE is Florida's prescription drug monitoring program, a state database of controlled substance prescriptions. Florida law requires prescribers to check it before prescribing a controlled substance, and we check it before prescribing one.
I was diagnosed with ADHD before. What should I do?+
Bring your records to your first visit and your provider will review them. Your first visit with us is still a new patient visit, in person at our Tampa clinic.
