Your plan's cost is set after your labs: TRT at Padgett starts at $199 a month, and Morgan Colee, PA, walks you through the results and what your plan would cost before you commit. There's no contract, and nothing is charged when you book.

How long does it take to get from New Tampa to the clinic?

About 30 minutes without traffic, roughly 16 miles. From around Cross Creek, the route heads south on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, west on Fletcher Avenue past the USF area, then south on Dale Mabry Highway and west on Linebaugh Avenue to 6904 W. Linebaugh Ave.

Bruce B. Downs is the one road everybody in New Tampa knows, and it's also the one that decides your trip. Leave around school drop-off or the evening push home from USF and the hospitals around it, and the clock runs longer. Of the areas north and east of the city, this is one of the easier in-person trips, so coming in is a realistic option.

Can I fit a TRT visit around a New Tampa workday?

Yes, and Wednesday is the day to know about. The clinic stays open until 7 PM on Wednesdays, which gives a man leaving work near Fletcher Avenue or the I-75 office parks time to get across town after hours. Other weekdays run 9 AM to 5 PM.

New Tampa is built around full calendars: families in Tampa Palms, Hunter's Green, Heritage Isles and K-Bar Ranch juggling kids' practices, and men working at the USF campus, the medical and research centers beside it, and offices up and down I-75. A visit that fits between those pieces is a visit you'll actually keep.

When does telehealth make more sense than coming in?

When your day is already packed or you'd rather not drive at all. A telehealth visit works anywhere in Florida, as long as you're physically in the state during the visit and hold up a valid Florida driver's license or ID to the camera.

That in-state rule matters if you travel for work. A video visit from a hotel room in Atlanta or Charlotte isn't allowed, so schedule your check-ins for days you're home. For more on the rules, see how telehealth visits work in Florida.

How do lab visits fit into a New Tampa week?

Labs happen first, before your provider sets any plan, and again at follow-up points your provider schedules. Ask when you book how and where your draw can be done, and pair it with a day you're already heading to the west side of Tampa.

Because the plan is lab-guided, the draws aren't optional extras; they're how your provider knows the plan fits you. To understand what's checked, read what to expect at a TRT clinic.

Where do New Tampa men work out outside the gym?

Flatwoods Park draws cyclists and runners to its long paved loop through pine flatwoods on the eastern edge of the community. Lettuce Lake Park, just off Fletcher Avenue on your way to the clinic, has a boardwalk and observation tower over the Hillsborough River swamp.

For something bigger, Hillsborough River State Park near Thonotosassa has hiking trails and paddling on the river. However you train, bring your routine up at your visit; your provider will want to know it along with your labs.

Which neighboring areas are also served?

Temple Terrace is about 11 miles from the clinic and 20 minutes, Lutz about 14 miles, and Wesley Chapel about 20 miles, close to 30 minutes, much like New Tampa. Men from all three book with us, in person or by telehealth. See our Wesley Chapel, Temple Terrace and Lutz pages.

Can I come in after work from New Tampa?+

Yes, on Wednesdays. The clinic is open until 7 PM that day and 9 AM to 5 PM the other weekdays. From New Tampa, the trip is about 30 minutes without traffic, longer if you leave during the evening rush on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard or Fletcher Avenue.

I work near USF. Can I do a telehealth visit from my office?+

Yes, if you're in Florida during the visit and can show a valid Florida driver's license or ID on camera. A private room with a steady connection is all you need. Your provider still orders labs first, so plan a draw before your plan is set.

Who will I see for TRT?+
