What's the drive from Lutz like?

From the old center of Lutz near US 41 and Lutz Lake Fern Road, head west on Lutz Lake Fern Road to Dale Mabry Highway, then pick up the Veterans Expressway south to the Linebaugh Avenue exit. It's about 14 miles and roughly 22 minutes in light traffic.

Is Lutz really that far from northwest Tampa?

Less than it feels. Lutz keeps its small-town landmarks, like the historic Lutz Train Depot at Bullard Park and the five lakes and wooded trails of Lake Park on North Dale Mabry, but the Veterans Expressway connects it almost directly to Linebaugh.

Even the county's Upper Tampa Bay Trail links the two: it has a trailhead on Lutz Lake Fern Road and runs south past Linebaugh. None of that makes the drive shorter, but it's a reminder that the clinic is on your side of the county.

How should you plan the one visit that must be in person?

How do nearby areas compare?

Carrollwood residents are much closer, about 8 minutes from the clinic, while Wesley Chapel is farther, at roughly 29 minutes by I-75 and I-275. Land O' Lakes, north of Lutz along US 41, adds to the drive, which makes telehealth follow-ups even more useful there.
