How do you drive from Town 'N' Country to the clinic?

Take Hillsborough Avenue to Hanley Road, head north on Hanley, then cut over on Wilsky Boulevard to Linebaugh Avenue. From the middle of Town 'N' Country, that's about 5 miles and roughly 9 minutes when the roads are clear.

If you know the Upper Tampa Bay Trail's Wilsky Boulevard trailhead, you're nearly there: Wilsky meets Linebaugh a short way west of the clinic. Hillsborough Avenue slows down at rush hour, so a mid-morning or early-afternoon appointment is usually the easier drive.

Can ADHD care work around shift schedules?

It can, with a little planning. Town 'N' Country sits right beside Tampa International Airport, and if your job there, or anywhere else, runs on early, late or rotating shifts, a weekday clinic can seem hard to reach.

Padgett is open 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays and until 7 PM on Wednesdays. The 30-minute first visit is the one appointment that must happen in person, so plan it for a day off or the Wednesday evening window. After that, the monthly 15-minute follow-ups can be done by video between shifts, as long as you're in Florida and show your Florida driver's license or state ID on camera.

What happens during the first appointment?

You meet with Morgan Colee, PA, for about 30 minutes to go over your symptoms, how long they've been present, including childhood, how they affect your job and your home life, your health history, current medications and any records from past care.

No diagnosis or medication is promised going in. Should a controlled medication come up, the E-FORCSE check, Florida's prescription drug monitoring program, happens before anything is written. Any prescription is sent to the pharmacy you pick, and the medication is paid for separately from the visit.

Bring a list of every medication and supplement you take, any paperwork from a past evaluation, even one from years ago or another state, and a short note on your usual shift pattern. Knowing when you sleep and when you work helps the provider see when your symptoms show up and how they get in the way.

How can you tell whether it's ADHD or just a demanding job?

You usually can't settle that on your own, which is what the evaluation is for. Stress and long hours can cause focus problems, while ADHD is a long-standing pattern whose symptoms began in childhood and show up in more than one part of life.

Are neighboring areas served too?

Yes. Citrus Park is closer, at about 6 minutes via Gunn Highway and the Veterans Expressway, and Westchase is about 8 minutes straight down Linebaugh. Egypt Lake-Leto, to the southeast, is a similar short drive, and telehealth follow-ups work the same way from all of them.

Weekend landmarks like Town 'N Country Park on West Hanna Avenue and the Town 'N Country Nature Preserve are all within that same few miles of the clinic, which is part of why the drive rarely feels like a trip.
