How long is the drive from Westshore?

About 14 minutes in light traffic. From Westshore Plaza, pick up Memorial Highway to the Veterans Expressway, ride it north to the Linebaugh Avenue exit, and turn east for the last stretch, about 8.4 miles in all. From International Plaza, Spruce Street leads to the same route in about the same time.

The Veterans is a toll road. For a toll-free trip, go north on Dale Mabry Highway past Raymond James Stadium all the way to Linebaugh, then west about 3 miles, which takes roughly 11 miles and 22 minutes without traffic.

Can you fit a first ADHD visit around an office job here?

What happens during the 30 minutes?

No diagnosis or prescription is promised before the visit.

Any controlled medication is prescribed only after a check of E-FORCSE, Florida's prescription drug monitoring program. A pharmacy near the office is a fine choice for filling it, and you pay for the medication there, not as part of the visit fee.

Can follow-ups happen from your Westshore office?

Yes, if you can close a door. Each 15-minute follow-up at $136 can be by video as long as you're physically in Florida and show a valid Florida driver's license or state ID on camera. If your floor is open-plan, reserve a small meeting room for the quarter hour.

Business travel is the catch. The airport is right next to the district, but telehealth only works while you're in Florida, so if a trip will put you out of state on your follow-up date, move the visit earlier.

Is there a student rate near the Dale Mabry campus?

Yes. Hillsborough College's Dale Mabry Campus is at 4001 W. Tampa Bay Blvd. (Hillsborough College), a short drive from the Westshore offices, and enrolled students with a valid college ID pay $130 for the new patient visit, booked online with a card on file, instead of $260. Where do Westshore workers take a break outside?

Cypress Point Park on West Cypress Street has a white sand beach on Tampa Bay, shaded paved and unpaved trails and a paddleboard rental station, and the City of Tampa mentions the planes coming in to land at the airport overhead. A lunchtime walk there is an easy way to clear your head before a video follow-up.

Which nearby areas have a similar drive?

Drew Park, on the airport's east side, is about 12 minutes from the clinic, and Town 'N' Country about 9. South Tampa is farther, around 18 minutes from Palma Ceia.
